OIC supports Arab Coalition’s rejection of Aden separatists’ “self-rule” declaration

JEDDAH-SABA
The Organization of Islamic Conference announced on Monday its support for the Arab Coalition’s rejection of the recent “self-rule” declaration by south Yemen separatists.

In a statement, OIC’s secretary general Yusuf al-Otheimeen stressed the importance of implementing the Riyadh Agreement that provides for power sharing between the government and the separatist militia known as the Southern Transitional Council.

The OIC said the internationally recognized Agreement of November 2019 is meant to unifies the ranks of Yemenis to restore the Yemeni state and confront the threat of terrorism.
