He stressed the keenness of the Yemeni government to end the suffering of the Yemeni people, stop the destruction and killing, and end the coup process by resuming the political process in terms of the stalled in accordance with the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanisms, and the outcomes of the comprehensive national dialogue conference and the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council, 2216 as the only guarantor to restore security and stability and return life to normal.
The Yemeni foreign minister said that the Yemeni government seeks peace and went to the consultations in Geneva and Swiss Bay in order to get Yemen out of its current situation. He pointed out that the militia did not have sound intentions for dialogue and peace by refusing to implement what was agreed upon in the Swiss consultations. The release of detainees and the opening of safe passages in front of the flow of relief, humanitarian and medical aid to all governorates, especially the besieged cities.

The Secretary of State valued the positions of the United States and the sponsors of the GCC initiative in supporting this process as the only path to peace.
The Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that the coup militia committed the most heinous crimes against innocent civilians by indiscriminate bombardment of cities, residential neighborhoods, markets, hospitals and schools, which claimed the lives of thousands of innocent people, including women, children and elderly, and displaced families from their homes through reprisals that violate international human rights law , Confiscated rights and freedoms, closed press institutions, arrested and killed journalists.
Al-Makhlafi pointed out that the militia did not carry a clear political project, but rather carried a reprisal project against all those who violated it and violated its destructive policy that affected the security and military institutions, government installations and infrastructure, and tried to impose its foreign agenda and instill terror among the Yemeni society. , And the disruption of the social fabric through the adoption of an agenda alien to the people of Yemen and imposed by force of arms.
The Secretary of State called on the United States and the other members of the UN Security Council to exert more pressure on the militias to implement the resolutions of international legitimacy, especially resolution 2216, and to rescue the Yemeni people from their economic conditions. He looked forward to the contribution of the United States and all countries in humanitarian issues and reconstruction The war was a major cause of the coup.
