Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Mansour Bijash met on Thursday with Czech Ambassador Jerry Slavik on the occasion of presenting a copy of his credentials as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Czech Republic to our country.
During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two friendly countries were discussed in various fields.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reviewed developments in the Yemeni arena and developments related to the political and humanitarian situation, stressing the position of the Yemeni government and its efforts to achieve lasting peace in Yemen and the importance of any initiative to solve the three references represented by the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanisms. He praised Jash of the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and looked forward to providing more support to the Yemeni government at the level of political positions supporting constitutional legitimacy as well as providing humanitarian and development assistance.
For his part, the Czech ambassador stressed that his government attaches importance to the development of bilateral relations with Yemen, pointing out the importance of restoring peace and stability to Yemen and lifting the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The meeting was attended by the official in the office of Foreign Minister Ahmed al-Sharabi.
