Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Dr. Shaya Zindani discussed with Qatari Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed Al Thani on Sunday coordinating positions of the two countries towards issues of common concern.
The meeting touched upon enhancing mutual relations between the two brotherly countries.
In the meeting held on the sidelines of the Joint Ministerial Meeting between the Countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Yemen is being held here, Minister al-Zandani praised efforts of Qatar supporting the Presidential Leadership Council and the government.
He also praised relief, humanitarian and developmental interventions provided by Qatar to help in alleviating suffering of Yemeni people.
For his part, the Qatari Prime Minister congratulated al-Zandani for appointing him a minister for foreign affairs, hoping to work with him in realizing interests of the two countries.
He confirmed his country’s support to everything ensuring Yemen’s unity, security, stability and realizing aspirations of the Yemeni people.
