NEW YORK – SABA
Yemen’s government has called on the UN Security Council to condemn the terrorist Houthi crimes against civilians, saying the Houthis should not be allowed to get away with their terrorism.
In a letter sent to the UN Security Council, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, and all delegations of member states to the United Nations, Yemen urged the Council to take serious measures to hold Houthis accountable and put them on the international terrorist groups list.
The memo recalled the despicable Houthi terror acts against innocent civilians in Radaa district of Baydhaa governorate, by bombing civilians in the sanctity of their homes on Tuesday, a crime whose toll was 35 innocent civilians, most of them women and children, and several other villagers were trapped under the rubble.
