Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ahmad BinMubarak discussed Wednesday with US Ambassador to Yemen Steven Fagen latest developments in Yemen.
The meeting touched upon Houthi terrorist militia’s threats to security and stability of the international navigation in the Red Sea.
BinMubarak confirmed that the terrorist acts committed by Houthi terrorist militia has led to shrinking trade shipments coming to the Red Sea and increased costs of shipping and insurances, as well as threatens supplies of food goods, which will complicate humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
He renewed Yemen’s denounce to the Israeli unprecedent aggression against Palestinian people in Gaza Strip and the West Bank leaving thousands of martyrs and injured people, calling upon the international community to shoulder its responsibility and works on imminent ceasefire and allowing entrance of humanitarian assistances.
For his part, the US diplomat renewed his country position supporting the Presidential Leadership Council and the government and support to Yemen’s security, unity and stability.
