BinMubarak holds talk session with Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister

Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ahmad Awadh BinMubarak held Sunday talk session with Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Fuad Mohammad Hussein on all aspects of mutual relations between the two brotherly countries and means of enhancing them in all fields.
The meeting tackled latest developments of political and economic conditions in Yemen, as BinMubarak touched upon Houthi militia’s rejection for extending the UN Truce and stopping the war and its rejection of interaction with UN and reginal efforts for realizing peace, as well as continuing its violations against Yemeni people, especially the economic war waged by the militia on the besieged Taiz City, shelling Yemeni oil ports and its pressures on the merchants not to use Aden’s Port.
For his part, the Iraqi Foreign Minister confirmed deep-rooted Iraqi-Yemeni relations, renewing his country’s firm position supporting the legitimacy of Yemeni and its unity, security and stability. He confirmed his country’s support in providing humanitarian assistances to Yemeni people.
The two parties signed a treaty of political consultations between the two countries’ foreign ministries for coordinating political positions towards issues of common concern.
The two parties also agreed on resumption of meetings of the Joint Ministerial Committee between the two countries signed in Sana’a on 18/08/2012.
The talk session included exchanging viewpoints towards a number of latest regional and international developments, especially those require solving crises peacefully and building bridges of dialogue for ending conflicts
