Yemen’s Ambassador to Jakarta Abdulghani al-Shamiri discussed Monday with Director of Middle East Department in Indonesian Foreign Ministry means of enhancing brotherly relations between the two countries.
Al-Shamiri reviewed efforts of the government of Yemen for reaching a ceasefire to the war triggered by Houthi terrorist militia, pointing out to the Humanitarian Response Plan in Yemen to be launched this February and will target displaced persons and refugees.
The two parties also discussed a number of issues associated with Yemeni expatriates in Indonesia.
The Indonesian official praised mutual relations between the two countries, pointing out that the Humanitarian Response Plan will be discussed with the concerned body in the ministry to coordinate ways of support through UN programs.
He confirmed that he will exert efforts with the Consulate Department of the Foreign Ministry to tackle all difficulties facing Yemeni citizens in Indonesia.
