His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-ALimi, Chairman of Presidential Leadership Council, along with member of the Presidential Council Tariq Saleh received here today, Tuesday, the Charged’ Affairs of the Peoples’ Republic of China’s embassy in the Republic of Yemen Shao Ch’ing.
They conferred over a range of topical issues including Yemeni-Chinese bilateral relations, developments in Yemen, UN-brokered humanitarian truces and chances to renew it amid Houthi militias’ violations and failure to fulfill its obligations under the desecration of the truce and Stockholm agreement.
President al-ALimi praised supportive stances of the Peoples’ Republic of China in support of the Yemeni peoples in different international stages, deeply appreciating Chinese support for the legitimate Yemeni leadership, government and the efforts aiming to make peace, end the humanitarian disaster created by the Iran-backed Houthi militias.
The Chinese diplomat stated that Beijing is committed to support the Presidential Leadership Council, government, the unity, stability and territorial integrity of Yemen.
He also confirmed China’s support for the UN-led efforts to extend the truce and reach fair solution to the Yemen crisis.
