Charged’ Affairs of the Republic of Yemen embassy in Madrid Mohammed Ma’odha held discussions here today with the Director of the Morocco, Mediterranean and Middle East Department of the Spanish Foreign Ministry Alberto Authlay.
Yemeni-Spanish bilateral ties and cooperation was key point of the conversations.
The discussions also touched upon the latest developments in Yemen.
Ma’odha briefed the Spanish official on the Houthi militia’s military escalation in Yemen and the region. He cited the militia’s ballistic missiles and drones attacks on the civil facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and the residential areas in Yemen.
He also pointed out to Arab League’s statement which called for designating Houthi militia as a terrorist organization.
The Spanish official confirmed his country’s support for Yemen’s security, stability, unity and legitimate leadership.
