Govt condemns Houthi terror rocket attacks against Saudi Arabia

Yemen’s government condemned in the strongest terms the cowardly Houthi terror attack with missiles against the Saudi capital Riyadh and the city of Jizan on Saturday evening.

A statement by the Yemeni foreign ministry said the continuity of such terror attacks soon after the Iran-backed Houthi militia had accepted the UN Secretary General’s call for de-escalation in Yemen “signals the militia’s lack of interest and will to engage in peace.” The statement said the militia’s dishonoring of the de-escalation calls reflects ” only the typical Iranian style of deception and foot-dragging.”
