Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs Dr. Mansour Bajash discussed today with the Japanese Ambassador to Yemen Katsuyoshi Hayashi the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, the latest developments in Yemen and the efforts of the government and the political leadership in exerting state influence throughout Yemen.
Bajash pointed to the difficulties facing the salaries of employees, where the Yemeni government is making great efforts in this area in order to deliver those salaries to the beneficiaries.
The Japanese foreign minister said that Japan will exert more efforts within the 18 countries to pressure the parties to the coup to comply with the UN resolutions on Yemen and stop their attacks on the Yemeni people and provide more humanitarian support to Yemen.
For his part, the ambassador affirmed Japan’s firm support for Yemen, stressing Japan’s support for Yemen in various international forums.
He noted Japan’s keenness to provide humanitarian assistance to the Yemeni people in all fields.
