PM holds meeting to discuss measures to handle impacts of designating Houthi militas terrorist organization

The Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak convened today, Sunday, in the interim capital Aden, a governmental meeting aimed to discuss the decline of the international funding in several sectors and the steps need to be taken to deal with this problem in coordination with the partners of Yemen including the donor countries and international organizations.

The meeting also intended to discuss the necessary measures to deal with the impacts of the designation of the Houthi militias as a terrorist organization.

The discussions touched on the prepared plans by the concerned Ministries and government’s parties to save the Yemeni peoples of any negative impacts due to the designation Houthi militias as a terrorist organization.

The meeting brought together the Ministers of Water and Environment Tawfiq al-Sharjabi, Industry and Trade Mohamed al-Ashwal, Public Health and Population Qasem Buhyabeh, Local Administration Hussein al-Aghbari, Educaton Tariq al-Akbari and Aden Governor Ahmed Lamlas and the Deputy Ministers of Planning and International Cooperation Nizar Basuhaib, Foreign Affais and Expatriates Mustafa Noaman, Finance Hani Wahab, Public Works and Highays Mohammed Thabet.
