The Republic of Yemen has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the provocative statements issued by the Israeli entity against the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) that the arrogant Israeli statements are not only targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia but also represent a serious escalation that threatens the stability of the entire region.
It called on the international community and the United Nations to take a clear and firm stance against these violations, which blatantly undermine all international efforts aimed at achieving peace.
The statement said, “The sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always been and remains a true advocate for peace, having presented serious and realistic peace initiatives to end the Arab-Israeli conflict, foremost among them King Fahd’s initiative in 1981 and the Arab Peace Initiative in 2002, which still represent the most realistic and feasible options for achieving comprehensive peace.”
However, Israeli occupation’s obstinacy continues to thwart any fair peace efforts, attempting to impose an illegitimate reality that serves its colonial interests at the expense of Palestinian and Arab rights, the statement added.
The statement reaffirmed the steadfast position of the Republic of Yemen, both government and people, alongside the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in facing any attempt to undermine its sovereignty or its pivotal role in defending Arab and Islamic issues.
It called for strengthening diplomatic efforts to support Arab peace initiatives and rejecting any attempts to impose unjust or arbitrary solutions at the expense of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
