Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani discussed Wednesday here with his Omani counterpart Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and the latest developments in Yemen.
The two ministers affirmed the depth of the fraternal relations that bind the two countries, reiterating their mutual commitment to strengthening the bonds of bilateral cooperation in various fields to serve the common interests of their peoples.
Al-Zandani and al-Busaidi also discussed ways to develop bilateral relations and reviewed the political developments in Yemen and the region, in addition to the efforts made by the Sultanate of Oman in coordination with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support the achievement of security, stability and peace in Yemen.
In a related context, the Foreign Minister discussed the developments in Yemen and the efforts being made to enhance security and stability with the Minister of the Royal Office, Lieutenant General Sultan al-Nu’mani, as well as the importance of strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries in various fields.
Additionally, Minister Zindani discussed with the Omani Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources Dr. Saud bin Hamoud al-Habsi enhancing cooperation in the fields of agriculture, fisheries, and water resources.
The two parties emphasized the importance of sharing expertise and building sustainable economic partnerships to support food security and enhance sustainable development in both countries.
Minister al-Habsi pointed out the available investment opportunities in the Sultanate, calling for effective partnerships between businesspeople in both countries in the agricultural and fisheries sectors.
