Charge D’affaires of Yemen’s Embassy here Abdulsalam al-Awadhi discussed Monday with the Deputy Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Program Elizabeth Marima latest developments of the sunk ship Rubymar over Houthi terrorist militia’s attack.
Al-Awadhi reviewed dangers of the disaster and efforts of the government to address them to alleviate aftermaths on maritime environment. He handed her over the response plan to address the disaster of the sunk ship prepared by the government’s related cell. The plan requires financial, technical and logistic swift support.
For her part, the UN official confirmed UN follow up to the disaster since the targeting incident of the ship by the militia, pointing out that the UN teams are existing in Aden and are working with the government of Yemen to address the disaster.
