NAUKCHOTT-SABA
Yemen’s Ambassador to Naukchott Dr. Salem al-Eradah discussed Friday with Mauritanian Defence Minister Hanena Ould SIDI enhancing defence cooperation between the two countries.
Al-Eradah reviewed situations in Yemen and Houthi terrorist militia’s stubbornness and rejection to peace efforts, pointing out that Iran-backed Houthi coup against the state is behind suffering of Yemeni people inside and outside the country and consumed national capabilities, in addition to looting salaries of public employees and smuggling weapons and drugs.
He touched upon Iranian role of supporting Houthi terrorist militia and dangers of Iranian interventions in the Arab National Security through its support to its hands in the region.
Ambassador al-Eradah praised support of Mauritania to Yemeni Armed Forces in field of military training and qualification.
For his part, the Mauritanian defence minister renewed his country’s position supporting the legitimacy in Yemen for regaining the state and support to Yemen’s unity and stability.
He also confirmed continuous cooperation of his country with Yemen in field of defence and different fields.
