Taiz City hosted Wednesday the first research symposium for discussing relations and investment opportunities and Yemeni-Chinese Partnership.
The symposium held in cooperation with Chinse People Republic and Prix Yemen organization.
Up to 40 workpapers were discussed in the symposium.
In the opening ceremony, Deputy Governor of Taiz Abdulkawi al-Mikhlafi praised Yemeni-Chinese historical relations and promising opportunities to enhance them, pointing out to Chinese support during the past decades and Chinese position supporting Yemen and its legitimized leadership.
He confirmed that this scientific activity serves development’s plans and contributes in providing visions for investment opportunities in the country destroyed by Houthi terrorist militia.
Meanwhile, the Charge D’Affairs of Chinese Embassy in Yemen Chaw Ching delivered a speech through Zoom in which he pointed out that China is working on improving its relations with the Republic of Yemen and it is ready for partnership in a package of projects, including roads.
He confirmed that China is working hard on helping Yemen for realizing inclusive peace and regaining security and stability.
The symposium’s sessions discussed a number of research workpapers on Yemeni-Chinese relations.
