Yemen’s Ambassador to Japan Adel al-Sunaini discussed Monday with Director of Middle East and Europe Department of Japanese International Cooperation Agency Tosaka Suta the underway projects implemented by the agency in Yemen and expanding Japanese support.
The meeting touched upon re-opening JICA’s office in the Transitional Capital of Aden to help the government’s response program for economic recovery and reforms in line with Japanese efforts in support of realizing peace and stability in Yemen.
For his part, the Japanese official reviewed projects and programs in Yemen, including Yemeni delegation’s participation in the program reconstruction in the end of this month.
He confirmed that they will take into considerations demands made by the ambassador and will be studied to include them within its projects and programs implemented by the agency.
