Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Ottawa Jamal Assallal met today, Friday, with the Chair of Foreign Relations and International Developments Committee in the House of Commons of Canada Sa’ada Ehssasi.
Aspects of the Yemeni-Canadian bilateral relations was key focus of the conversations.
Assallal touched upon the latest developments in Yemen, noting that the Yemeni government is committed to support the UN-led efforts to extend and broaden the truce.
The Canadian official reiterated Canada’s support for the UN-led good offices to achieve comprehensive peace in Yemen and humanitarian actions.
