Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed BinMubarak informed today, Friday, to the United States’ envoy to Yemen Timothy Lenderking about the implications of Iran-backed Houthi militias’ terrorist attacks on the two oil harbors of Radhom and Adhaba which targeted by drones and missiles attacks in an attempt aimed to terrify the oil firms, prevent their vessels from entering the two harbors.
Bin Mubarak described these terrorist actions as direct aggression on the Yemeni peoples and the country’s infrastructure and the economic facilities. Such terrorist behaviors also undermine the ongoing international efforts to make peace in Yemen or to good offices to extend the truce.
The Foreign Minister stated the Yemeni government will do everything necessary to protect the Yemeni peoples’ facilities, stop the Houthis’ aggression, calling on the USA and International Community to have firm stance against the Houthis’ terrorist threats, hold the perpetrators accountable for their crimes, acting to ensure that such terrorist acts won’t be repeated.
