The Consultation and Conciliation Authority held Monday a meeting presided by over by the Head of the Authority Mohammed al-Ghaithi and attended by his deputies Abdulmalik al-Mikhlafi, Sakhr al-Wajeeh, Jamilah Ali Raja, Judge Akram al-Ameri and members of the authority.
The meeting discussed latest political developments and relevant issues in Yemen led by the truce and peace process.
The authority called upon the international community to take serious and clear position towards Houthi militia’s stubbornness and its rejection to extend the truce, which represents real chance to permanent peace.
The authority renewed support to the Presidential Leadership Council and the government and to significance of speeding up of accomplishing draft rules organizing activities of the council and the authority, confirming its role in the political process sponsored by the UN to realize peace and stability.
The authority also emphasized support by all political forces to enhance the role of the Presidential Leadership Council, protecting partnership and doubling efforts for facing all challenges led by Houthi militia.
The meeting tackled also the accomplished work by the authority during the past period and discussed a number of issues and files included in its agenda.
