Yemen’s Foreign Minister Ahmed Awadh bin Mubarak told the US special envoy to Yemen Tim Lenderking the Houthi militia are still waging their war on Marib and amassing child soldiers to the warfronts in the south of the governorate.
Mubarak told the US envoy that while the international community are banding efforts together to establish peace, the militia press ahead with their aggression confirming the fact about them that they do not want peace.
The minister e deplored the militia’s black trade in basic commodities including cooking gas and other kinds of fuel and exploiting the made up-fuel crisis to enlist more fighters to the militia’s permanent wars.The US envoy confirmed his country’s support to the efforts of the UN envoy seeking to broker peace in the country.
