Japan provides new food aid to Yemen worth 20.5 million dollars

The Japanese government announced the provision of new food aid to Yemen worth 20.5 million dollars from Japan’s supplementary budget for the fiscal year 2020 AD through the World Food Program.

The Japanese embassy in Yemen said in a statement that the new food aid aims to provide humanitarian aid in the field of food and nutrition in Yemen, and it is expected to contribute to securing food for 2 million and 285 thousand people.

It indicated that Japan continues to support Yemen to alleviate the suffering of its people by providing aid in various fields.
