Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ahmad Binmubarak discussed Sunday through visual communications technology with the Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmad Abu Alghiet latest developments in Yemen.
Binmubarak reviewed steps of forming the new government in accordance with Riyadh Agreement and the terrorist attack targeted the government while arriving at Aden Airport and killed and injured dozens of civilians, pointing out that the investigations confirmed with strong profs that Houthi militia was behind the coward attack.
He expressed appreciation to the Arab League for its positions supporting the internationally-recognized government of Yemen in struggle for regaining the state from Houthi militia and for realizing peace and stability in the country.
He touched upon cooperation between Yemen and the General Secretariat of the Arab League and its organizations in field of reconstruction, qualifying cadre and rehabilitating the government’s institutions.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Arab League renewed condemnation of the terrorist attack, which targeted the government for the purpose of failing Riyadh Agreement and undermining the tasks of the new government.
He confirmed his full solidarity and support to the government for continuing implementation of Riyadh Agreement to meet aspirations of Yemeni people for realizing security and stability and reaching an inclusive peace in Yemen.
He praised the Prime Minister, ministers and government members for their determination on continuing their tasks from the transitional capital of Aden in very difficult times.
